Here are steps you can take to protect yourself:

Do not share your log in information with anyone

Do not download or click on any link. Slim-30 would never ask you to do such thing.

Shred documents containing personal information before discarding. Most fraud and identity theft incidents happen as a result of mail and garbage theft.

Phishing

Use caution if you receive an email expressing an urgent need to update your account information, activate your account, or verify your identity by clicking a link and/or running and downloading attached files. These emails may be part of a phish scam conducted by fraudsters to capture your confidential account information and commit fraud.

If you receive a suspicious email that you think is a phish email from Slim-30, do not respond or provide any information. Send the email to reportphish@slim-30.com.

Protect yourself from scams

Fraudsters will try to defraud you using various means, such as asking you to cash a check on their behalf, telling you you've won a sweepstakes or lottery, and to send your account information or deposit a check and wire excess funds out of the country.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
